Join us on Sunday 25 June in a Cathedral packed with enthusiastic young singers and their families for the annual spectacle of our Leeds Cathedral Boys’ Choir Festival. This Cathedral event showcases the outstanding singing of all our Cathedral and school choirs across the Diocese of Leeds – and there’s even an opportunity for ‘audience participation’ with no audition necessary! Our senior choirs will sing for the 11 am Mass, and then all choirs will join together for a free public concert at 2.30 pm, featuring the world premiere of two commissioned pieces by Van Morrison percussionist turned classical composer, Teena Lyle. Choirs performing include the seven Choirs of Leeds Cathedral, and our Catholic Youth Choirs from Bradford and Keighley, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Wakefield and Pontefract.
