The Diocese of Leeds Singing and Instrumental Programmes have been committed to transforming lives through music since 2003. Since then, we have worked with more than 25,000 children. Recognised as the UK’s leading choral music provision, we reach 4,500 children in whole-class singing sessions, after-school choirs, and one to one voice and instrumental lessons every week.

Every child should have the opportunity to access and develop through music. To enable us to reach more children in some of the most deprived areas of Yorkshire please consider completing our donation form. Return this via email to office@dioceseofleedsmusic.org.uk or post to Music Office, Cathedral House, Great George Street, Leeds, LS2 8BE.

£10 a month funds weekly school singing sessions for six children for an entire school year.
£15 a month supports performance opportunities and workshops for 17 after school choirs.

Thanks to funding from The @HamishOgstonFdn, @DOLMusic is delighted to announce that it is now expanding its award-winning Schools Singing Programme across Yorkshire and replicating it in every Catholic diocese in the UK to create the National Schools Singing Programme.

Alleluia, alleluia!

The NSSP initiative takes inspiration from the model developed by the Diocese of Leeds in 2003. It uses the existing infrastructure of Catholic state schools and offers additional funds to support world-class inclusive music programmes. The funds help engage diverse communities which have often been an afterthought for choral and church music. Find out more about Diocese of Leeds Music at dioceseofleedsmusic.org.uk ...
