Diocese of Leeds Music has been committed to transforming lives through music since 2003. Over almost two decades, we have worked with more than 25,000 young people across Yorkshire. Recognised as the UK’s leading provider of choral music, we reach over 6,000 children each week through whole-class singing and melodica teaching, after-school choirs, and one-to-one vocal and instrumental lessons.

It is our belief that every child should have the opportunity to access and develop through music. To enable us to reach more children in some of the most deprived areas of Yorkshire please consider becoming a regular giver by completing our donation form and returning this via email to office@dioceseofleedsmusic.org.uk or via post to Diocese of Leeds Music, Cathedral House, Great George Street, Leeds, LS2 8BE.

‘I am delighted to become a Patron of the National Schools Singing Programme. It is a truly groundbreaking initiative bringing the benefits and joys of singing and learning together to primary schools while also rapidly broadening the foundations of the UK’s world-leading choral tradition. As a composer who has always enjoyed writing music for young choirs to sing, I have witnessed at first hand the thrill of children learning to read music and exploring the potential of their voices in schools, churches and cathedrals. What a marvellous gift the NSSP is giving to our future choral community!’John Rutter CBE16 May 2024 ... See MoreSee Less
