Our amazing Cathedral Organist and Director of the Keyboard Studies Programme, David Pipe, recently took part in a ‘bonkers gig’ which saw the Huddersfield Town Hall organ accompany two doom metal bands, Arð and Pantheïst.
As both performer and teacher, David inspires young people to pursue the organ by showing what the instrument is capable of in different musical settings – this collaboration was certainly something different!
