St Maximilian Kolbe Children’s Choir

Launched in January 2019, St Maximilian Kolbe Children’s Choir is based in Beeston, two miles south of Leeds city centre. The choir comprises local children from St Anthony of Padua and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary Schools who love singing and show great vocal and musical potential. The choir is part of our internationally-acclaimed Schools Singing Programme and provides the highest quality musical training with opportunities to perform and sing services in the St Maximilian Kolbe Parish Churches and Leeds Cathedral.

After brilliant boys and young t/b rehearsals yesterday, we had the Junior and Senior Girls Choirs back at the cathedral - a really free sound with so much potential! Massive thanks to @MulofVoyCIC for their Upper Voices anthology...we sang Panufnik and Boulanger 🎶🎵🎵🎶

Absolutely blown away by @DOLMusic on @BBCLeeds my two children are featured in the Ave Maria later on. But the other choirs sound incredible and it’s being heard nationwide on local radio. V proud
