Bradford Catholic Girls' Choir broadcast live on Radio 4



Bradford Catholic Girls' Choir - part of the Diocese's Schools Singing Programme and supported by Holy Family School (Keighley) and St. Bede's and St. Joseph's Catholic College (Bradford) - broadcast two editions of the BBC's long-running Daily Service on Radio 4. The service for St. Patrick's Day featured hymns set to traditional Irish tunes and Bob Chilcott's Irish Blessing. Wednesday's transmission included Andre Thomas' arrangement of Couldn't hear nobody pray, a setting of Psalm 139 and the hymn Faithful Shepherd, feed me. The choir was conducted by the Director of the Schools Singing Programme, Thomas Leech, and accompanied by the Cathedral Organist, Daniel Justin.
