A new full time post is available for a Choral Director. This job is made up of two principal strands, firstly, to continue the further development of the Diocesan schools' singing programme in the city of Leeds, and secondly, to develop and lead a new Cathedral Boys' Choir and new Cathedral Girls' Choir for 7-10 year olds.
If the successful candidate is an organist of sufficiently high calibre, then they will also share in the accompaniment of the daily services on the new Klais organ and Sunday services on the new Skrabl organ in Huddersfield. The music department is sufficiently large and flexible however that a non-organist may also successfully apply for this post.
