The St John Fisher Boys' Choir was formed as an after-school choir for boys aged 8-13 a year ago with the aim of encouraging boys to continue singing across the primary and secondary school divide.
The boys sing mass at St. Robert's Church in Harrogate at least once a term, contribute to school concerts, and recently sang at the concert celebrating the restoration of the organ in the school's chapel. They were honoured to take part in the Papal Mass in Birmingham last September.
The choir aims to emulate the achievements of the Diocesan choirs in Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds, including recording and tours. They are looking forward to taking part in a Radio 2 Sunday Half Hour recording next term.
Auditions can be arranged by contacting Tom Leech.
