Eighteen schools in the Leeds area receive singing classes from a Cathedral Choral Director each year. Choir training is provided to six schools each term leading up to a concert at the Cathedral, held in conjunction with the cathedral choristers.
At these joint concerts, schools sing their prepared solo items, perform a longer piece together, and children have a chance to hear the Cathedral organ.
