In addition to the Cathedral Choirs in Leeds, outreach work is carried out in primary schools across the city and its neighbouring areas. This programme is led by the Choral Director for the Leeds area. The work is funded through a consortium of local schools.
There is also a new Cathedral Choir School, based at the current Holy Rosary and St Anne's School in Chapeltown. The Choral Director for the Choir School is Sally Egan.
Diocesan Choral Directors also run an after school boys' choir for pupils at St John Fisher High School, the Catholic Arts College in Harrogate.
