These primary school choirs are led by Choral Directors, Christopher Johns in Bradford, and Keith Roberts in Keighley.
Children are taught the basics of reading music, alongside regular work on vocal technique. Many schools are comfortable singing in two and three parts. They perform a wide repertoire, reflecting both the heritage of the Catholic Church and the multicultural make up of the cities of Bradford and Keighley.
The choirs have enjoyed success in Yorkshire music competitions and have broadcast to the nation on BBC Songs of Praise.
